Butterfly Lacing Jewels

Each butterfly is double-sided with a faceted polished finish to provide maximum shiny colours. There are vertical and horizontal threading holes through the centres of each butterfly so they can be laced in either orientation in an ordered or random sequence.

Lacing is a good pre-writing activity as it develops and strengthens coordination and fine motor skills. The butterfly set can also be used for counting and sorting, using imaginative play and for encouraging descriptive language and story-telling.

The set includes 20 butterflies featuring jewels in pink, green, yellow, blue and red (4 of each colour), with 2 laces.
