Pirate Island

THE FIDGET GAME Pirate Island is a reading comprehension board game that transforms story exploration into a swashbuckling treasure hunt for Kindergarten through Grade 2 (ages 5–8).

Players draw clue cards, move their pawns, and race to outsmart the pirate — building real literacy skills through every move, no screens required. Pirate Island targets the comprehension skills that matter most for early readers: identifying story characters, settings, and major events; sequencing and retelling story events; making inferences using text clues and background knowledge; and building critical thinking by connecting details to story meaning.
